The Boston Marathon, like any marathon, is all about strength, and that was evident in the race this year. Despite it being 40 degrees and raining the entire day, jubilant crowds lined the streets of the route. Competitors raced down Boylston Street, where I was huddled with my equipment, praying the layers of plastic Ziploc bags hold up against the rain. There were more smiles on their faces than anything else. Here are some photos from one of my favorite days of the year in the city of Boston.
